Three things:
-First, today we found out that we are having a baby boy. Crazy- I know! Up until this point, R thought he was destined to live in the land of pink & princesses. As the ultrasound would have it, there will be one more prince charming in our kingdom. G-bean is now excited. At first she was flustered, because she wanted a baby girl named Carol. I don't know where she gets this stuff.
-Second, G-bean lost her first tooth. The only problem is that she has no recollection as to where it is or when it happened. We think she might have swallowed it. So if it takes 7 years for gum to digest, how long does it take for a tooth? The tooth fairy definitely has her work cut out for her.
-Third, I am going to admit to something quite silly. I duct taped my daughter into her diaper today. According to other moms, it is not child abuse. E does not like to wear pants...ever. When left to her own devices, she will strip & run. Such behavior is not kosher at nap time. So today, I pulled out that handy multi-purpose tape and strapped her in. SUCCESS! I have yet to hear a peep from her room. I haven't planned her exit strategy from the diaper, but I'm sure it will make for a great story.

Also, I was doubled over laughing about the duct tape! Do tell on how you got her out of that diaper. And will there be future tapings?

Congrats on the Boy! That is so exciting. Whew I bet Rocky is relieved. It was fun to see you guys the other night. I hope things are going well.

I knew it. I just knew it. Why do I have such pregnancy telepathy. I've been calling other recently feeling like maybe they were preg too and they were. Congrats! Wait, when does this make baby #3 due? This makes me have serious Mexico concerns?????

Well, ya know that Jonah will be more than happy to introduce him to Star Wars! We're excited for you! Don't tell your doc about the tooth, they might make you search to see if it came out! ha ha!
congrats congrats april. boys are so fun- wild little rascals that they are. R will love the madness I am sure. i hope you are feeling well. and like always, you have me rolling. I agree that there is no problem with the duct taping- it is soo much better than coming into a peed in bed.

You can't even imagine how excited I am for you to have a boy. Oh the stories you will have.... can't wait. Our families are going to be "two sames!" I have loved having a little man in the house after two very dramatic girls. I swear that girls and boys are different from the very beginning. They are noisy, busy, destructive, and at the same time they are the best little snuggles. I am so excited for you.
